Warranty Overview
The Somnus Lab Sleep Pad includes a standard 2-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal in-home, non-commercial use. If a defect occurs within the warranty period, Somnus Lab will repair or replace your unit at no cost to you, subject to the warranty terms outlined below.
Standard Warranty
Your Somnus Lab Sleep Pad (Sleep Pad + Base Unit) is covered by a 2-year limited warranty from the date of delivery.
Warranty Coverage
This Limited Warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
- Hardware malfunctions under normal, in-home, non-commercial use.
This warranty applies only to the Somnus Lab Sleep Pad and Base Unit purchased directly from somnuslab.com or authorized Somnus Lab resellers, and only to the original purchaser from the date of delivery.
Exclusions and Limitations
This Limited Warranty does not apply to:
- Non-Somnus Lab products, even if packaged with or sold together with a Somnus Lab product (including counterfeit or unlicensed items).
- Products that are, or Somnus Lab reasonably believes to be, stolen.
- Products serviced, altered, refurbished, or modified by any party not authorized by Somnus Lab.
- Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, or fabric discoloration.
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, mishandling, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
- Damage caused by improper setup, including use of non-approved liquids instead of water and recommended antiseptics such as benzalkonium chloride or BAC.
- Damage caused by environmental conditions, including excessive humidity, freezing, or heat.
- Damage caused by power surges, voltage mismatches, or use of non-approved power adapters.
- Normal wear and tear or natural aging of the product, such as fading, stretching, or surface deterioration.
- Use of the product in commercial or non-residential settings (e.g., hotels, clinics, rental properties).
- Operation of the product outside its intended use or not in accordance with Somnus Lab’s operating instructions.
No Somnus Lab reseller, distributor, agent, or employee is authorized to modify, extend, or add to this Limited Warranty. If any provision of this Limited Warranty is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Eligibility and Conditions
- Applies only to products purchased directly from somnuslab.com or from authorized Somnus Lab resellers. Products purchased from unauthorized resellers, third-party marketplaces, or secondhand are not covered.
- Is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser from the date of delivery.
- Requires valid proof of purchase (including purchase date), the product’s serial number, and any other information reasonably requested by Somnus Lab in order to process a warranty claim.
Remedies
If a defect arises and Somnus Lab receives a valid return authorization request within the applicable warranty period, Somnus Lab will, at its sole discretion and to the extent permitted by law:
- Repair the product at no cost using new or refurbished replacement parts; or
- Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of equal or greater value.
To the extent permitted by law, these remedies constitute your sole and exclusive remedies for defects covered under this Limited Warranty. Somnus Lab will cover all shipping and handling costs associated with valid warranty claims, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Any replacement product provided under this Limited Warranty will assume the greater of (a) the remaining coverage of the original warranty period, or (b) ninety (90) days from the date of replacement, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.
Replacements and Upgrades
- Warranty Continuation: If your unit is replaced due to a warranty claim, the replacement unit does not restart the warranty period. Coverage continues from the original purchase date.
- Official Upgrades: If additional Somnus Lab models become available in the future and you choose to upgrade through Somnus Lab’s official upgrade program (if offered), the upgraded unit will carry a new warranty starting from its delivery date. The original unit’s warranty will end once the upgrade is completed.
Shipping Costs
For valid warranty claims, Somnus Lab will cover all shipping costs for returns, repairs, or replacements.
Extended Warranty
Somnus Lab may also offer an official extended warranty service for purchase. If you obtain this service, the extended coverage will apply under the same terms and conditions as the standard warranty, unless otherwise specified in the service agreement at the time of delivery.
From time to time, Somnus Lab may offer promotions or special campaigns that extend the standard warranty period. If your product was purchased under such an offer, the extended warranty terms and duration will apply in accordance with the applicable campaign rules.

- Provide proof of purchase, product serial number, and a description of the issue.
- Our team may guide you through troubleshooting steps before confirming warranty service.
- If approved, you may be asked to return the defective product or part for inspection. Return instructions will be provided.
Local Laws and Consumer Rights
This warranty provides specific legal rights. You may also have additional rights under local consumer protection laws, which vary by region. In the event of any conflict, local laws will prevail.
